Today we visit the 13th century church of Saint Matin in Nouans-les-Fontaines with its impressive bell tower.
The church has a central nave, a choir and seven sided apse.
A painted walnut panel in front of the altar called the
Pietà Nouans’ dates from the second half of the 15th
century and is attributed to the Touraine artist Jean Fouquet .
Side altars dedicated to the Virgin Mary and St.Martin
