Poppies bursting out below the walls of the chateau at Le Grand-Pressigny at the moment, adding a delightful soft touch to the base of its mighty fortifications.

Currently as we are drving through our region we are seeing more and more poppies bringing their touch of red to the fields...always a delight!

No matter the season the Loire Valley always produces its own delights...

As you drive around the Loire Valley at this time the poppies are bursting out around you...even by the side of the road

This beautiful field of poppies sits beside the cemetery on the outskirts of the little village of Chambon in Southern Touraine here in the Loire Valley..
