Wednesday for Windows - Christmas dressing in Loches.

In Loches, even the smallest details mark the season. Along quiet streets, windows are dressed for Christmas, a scattering of stars, greenery tucked onto ledges, and shopfronts offering small, festive touches rather than grand displays.

These are not decorations meant to dazzle. They sit gently within the town’s historic stone, adding warmth and colour to streets already rich with character. A reminder that in places like Loches, Christmas arrives quietly, one window at a time.

Part of the “Wednesday for Windows” Series

Each Wednesday, we pause to notice windows across the Loire Valley — their shutters, curtains, and quiet character.
