Place de la Résistance sits at the heart of Tours, a broad civic square framed by orderly façades and everyday movement. During the Christmas period, the space is transformed by a large decorated tree and a ring of wooden market stalls, adding colour and warmth to a setting usually defined by routine. It remains a place of passage and meeting, where seasonal decoration briefly reshapes the character of the street life around it.
“Even dressed for celebration, the square keeps its quiet sense of belonging.”
