Tuesday for towns in the Loire Valley -Veretz on the banks of the river Cher

You probably won't go in search of the town of Veretz which sits 10km east of Tours but if you are heading up to the vineyards of Vouvray or Montlouis-sur-Loire from the south of the region it features in an alternative crossing over the river Cher and makes for a good drive-by and photo opportunity.
