Tuesday for towns in the Loire Valley - Cheverny

The town of Cheverny in the department of Loir-et-Cher is normally a very tranquil place until the tourist season arrives and its famous chateau draws them to view its wonderful tulip display in spring and its sumptuous interiors throughout the year. The area, like most of the Loire Valley, also produces some fine wines.

Yesterday's image was a side elevation of this elegant chateau.
