Visiting 'VitiLoire' - for research purposes only...

Some photographs from Saturday's 'VitiLoire' wine fair in Tours.Set in the city centre, on the Boulevard Heurteloup , Station Square and in the gardens of the Prefecture, the public were invited to discover the diversity of the wines of the Loire Valley.

Over 150 producers were on hand to give you the benefit of their experience.

There were Anjou, Chinon, Bourgueil, Saumur and Touraine wines,

plus the famous whites from Sancerre, Pouilly Fume and Quincy.

The purchase of a € 5.00 tasting glass was all that was needed to explore great selection of wines on offer.

There were also chefs on hand for demonstrations on local cuisine plus a 'gourmet village' dedicated to the gastronomy of Touraine.
