Wednesday for windows - had to be Chedigny.

After our pre-festival visit on Saturday we had to share a few of the lovely windows of the village. Chedigny is one of the most beautiful flowering villages in the Loire Valley, with almost every house seemingly competing in a friendly battle of roses and greenery.

In spring and early summer, the entire village transforms into a living floral tapestry.

These four houses with rose-adorned windows captured on Saturday are a wonderful reminder of how the French art of living beautifully extends even to the smallest villages.
