Thursday's taken in Touraine...'Fuye de Roncée'

Across the rural landscape of Touraine, dovecotes, those curious towers built for pigeons are a fairly common sight. Their shapes and styles vary wildly, some are circular others square or hexagonal. This is one we have passed over the years and watched its renovation and return to grandeur. You’ll find it near the village of Panzoult in the heart of Chinon wine country.
