A major cycling festival 'Anjou Vintage Velo' had firmly added itself to the Loire Valley's list of major events with its success down to good organization and the enthusiastic involvement of  its participants. Last year's event was,like many others,cancelled due to the pandemic and although the 2021 event has its dates (27th,28th & 29th Aug) it may still be considered to be in the lap of the gods as to whether it goes ahead - fingers crossed!

For April - Tuesday is for tulips...these are at Chateau de Chenonceau

 

We are showing some of the gardens of our wonderful chateaux with their tulip displays as sadly because of the current restrictions we cannot get to appreciate them first hand.
