Tuesday for towns...Chedigny in springtime.

The little village of Chedigny in Southern Touraine comes alive soon with its display of roses but for the moment it is the early spring flowers and blossom that bring some colour to its pretty,quiet streets. 

Monday's Loire Valley chateau...Chateau de Cheverny and its tulip display

Chateau de Cheverny is closed along with all the attractions of the Loire Valley and amazingly it is only the third time in its history that the chateau has been closed to the public. This year you will not be able to view their wonderful tulip display so here are some images from our previous visits at this time off year.

The owners of the chateau have also kindly made this video  to let us see this years great display.
