Fete de la Music...
This weekend ( 20th/21st June) is the 'Fete de la Musique', the annual music festival here in France where musicians are asked to provide free (plus paid for concerts) live music in a variety of venues. The tradition inaugurated by the then French Minister of Culture in Paris in 1982 continues to reinvent itself with free concerts with everything from hunting horns to hip hop.

Visiting 'VitiLoire' - for research purposes only...
Some photographs from Saturday's 'VitiLoire' wine fair in Tours.Set in the city centre, on the Boulevard Heurteloup ,
Over 150 producers were on hand to give you the benefit of their experience.
There were Anjou, Chinon, Bourgueil, Saumur and Touraine wines,
plus the famous whites from Sancerre, Pouilly Fume and Quincy.
The purchase of a € 5.00 tasting glass was all that was needed to explore great selection of wines on offer.
There were also chefs on hand for demonstrations on local cuisine plus a 'gourmet village' dedicated to the gastronomy of
