Why not come and join us on in the sun for the annual Autumn walk on Sunday 24th. Meeting point: Salle des Fêtes. Rue de la Butte. Departure 14 hrs. 12 km. 3 € for club members - 3.50 €  non-members- Free for under 18 years old. Check-in after 14:00. Coffee & gingerbread on departure. Provisioning at midpoints. Pastries with autumn fruits after walk. Dogs on a leash accepted. Provide 'city' shoes on the parquet floor of the salle des fetes.

September in the Loire Valley

September is a great time to visit the Loire Valley in France, the major attractions and popular towns are a little quieter and the weather, settling around the low 20's can be very agreeable.

The formal gardens and countryside still have much to offer...

plus you still have time to visit the International Garden Festival at Chaumont-sur-Loire.
