Listed as one of 'Les-Plus-Beaux-Villages-de-France', Apremont-sur-Allier  is a lovely village located close to the confluence of the Loire and Allier rivers in the department of Cher. We have yet to make a page for this very pretty place on our site - something we have to put right soon!

Loire Valley church on Sunday - St.Etienne,Villandry

All visitors to Chateau de Villandry will catch a glimpse of the village's church of Saint Etienne as they walk through its beautiful gardens but I wonder how many venture up to its door? Not always open but worth a try, as it has an interesting interior.
