Today we feature another of 'Les-plus-beaux-villages-de-France' , Angles-sur-l'Anglin and although it's not actually in our region of Centre-Val de Loire we have adopted it as one of our own due to its location just below the border between Touraine and the Vienne.
This is the private Château des Repenellières which sits on the D12 just outside Esves-le-Moutier in Southern Touraine. Referred to as L'Erpenelliere in the 18th century before becoming 'Repenellières' in the early 19th. Could not find much info. other than during the second half of the 19th century the castle belonged to Mr. Veneau, mayor of Ligueil and in July 2016 it played host to 540 Belgian scouts!
